Healthy Pup Contest Rules

Welcome to the Healthy Pup Contest hosted by PupWise. Please review these rules and terms carefully to ensure an enjoyable experience for everyone involved. By entering this contest, you agree to be bound by these Contest Rules and Terms.
1. Contest Overview
The Healthy Pup Contest, hosted by PupWise, celebrates the positive impact of informed dog parenting. This contest promotes pet wellness education and gives dog parents a chance to win wellness-focused prizes, sponsored by PupWise and select wellness-focused partners. Sponsors will be featured on the contest website, in email campaigns, and across PupWise’s social media channels.
2. Eligibility
Participants must meet the following criteria:
- Be 18 years or older
- Reside in the continental U.S. or Canada
- Own a dog
- Subscribe to PupWise emails to be eligible for prizes
No purchase is necessary to enter or win. Participants engaging with the PupWise app will receive a free trial period, allowing them to earn contest bonus points at no cost.
3. Contest Timeline and How to Compete
- Entry Period (Nov 11, 2024 - Nov 29, 2024)
- Goal: Secure the best leaderboard position going into the Voting Period.
- How it Works: Participants join the contest and earn points by completing daily activities listed on their contest entry page, which are only viewable to the participant when logged in. Points earned during this period determine each contestant's initial leaderboard ranking. Once the Entry Period ends, no new participants can join, and all points are reset to zero.
- Voting Period (Nov 30, 2024 - Dec 18, 2024)
- Goal: Accumulate the highest number of votes to win the contest.
- How it Works: During the Voting Period, participants earn votes in two ways: (1) by rallying friends and family to vote for them, and (2) by completing daily wellness challenges, which add bonus votes to their total. The participant with the most votes at the end of the Voting Period will be declared the winner.
- Winners Announcement (Dec 22, 2024)
- Goal: Recognize the top participants and award prizes.
- How it Works: The top three contestants with the most votes at the end of the Voting Period will each win a sponsored wellness prize bundle worth up to $1,750, $750, and $500, respectively. In the event of a tie, a coin flip will be conducted by a PupWise representative to determine the winner. Prizes must be accepted as awarded, with no substitutions or exchanges permitted. Winners have six (6) months from the initial contact to claim their prizes.
4. How to Enter
- Visit the contest page at https://www.getpupwise.com/contest/healthly-weight-happy-pup.
- Click the “Enter to Win” button.
- Complete the entry form.
- After submitting, you’ll land on your personal contest entry page, displaying your pet’s contest profile and outlining “Ways to Earn Points” to climb the leaderboard.
5. Conduct
- Fair Play: Any participant suspected of engaging in unfair practices, including but not limited to vote manipulation, use of fake accounts, or fraudulent entries, will be disqualified.
- Respectful Behavior: Participants must refrain from using foul language, making inappropriate comments, or engaging in any behavior deemed disrespectful or disruptive. Such conduct will result in disqualification.
- Account Integrity: Only one entry per person is allowed. Participants found to have created multiple entries or accounts will be disqualified.
- Modification or Cancellation: PupWise reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the contest at any time, for any reason, including but not limited to suspected fraud, technical issues, or other unforeseen circumstances.
- Final Decisions: All decisions made by PupWise regarding the contest, participant eligibility, and rule enforcement are final and binding.
By entering this contest, participants agree to abide by these rules and any decisions made by PupWise, which are final in all respects.
