1. Acceptance of Terms
By entering the Healthy Pup Contest ("Contest"), participants agree to these Terms of Use and Privacy Policy ("Terms") and confirm they have read and accepted the Contest Rules. PupWise reserves the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. Participants are bound by these Terms for the duration of the Contest. The Contest is void where prohibited and subject to all applicable laws and regulations. All decisions by PupWise regarding the Contest are final and binding.
2. Eligibility and Use of the PupWise App
The Contest is open to residents of the continental U.S. and Canada who are 18 or older and dog owners. To be eligible for prizes, participants must subscribe to the PupWise email list. Some point-earning activities are accessible only through the PupWise app, available exclusively on iOS. Participants without an iPhone acknowledge and accept that this may put them at a disadvantage. Alternative point-earning methods, such as vote collection, are available to all participants. Participation in the Contest is entirely voluntary.
By participating in the Contest, all entrants who subsequently download and use the PupWise app—whether through a contest link or directly from the App Store—agree to be bound by the PupWise app’s Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. These terms are available on the PupWise website (getpupwise.com) and within the app under the menu bar. Use of the app in connection with the Contest constitutes acceptance of these terms.
3. Contest Entry, Data Collection, and Tracking
To enter, participants must visit the contest website, submit a valid email address, and create a profile for their pet. By entering, participants consent to share basic information with PupWise and acknowledge the following:
PupWise will track certain participant activities, such as visiting sponsor websites or subscribing to sponsor newsletters, solely for awarding points and votes as per the Contest structure. To monitor these activities, PupWise may use cookies or similar tracking technology, which collect anonymized usage data to ensure accurate point allocation. No personally identifiable data will be shared or sold, and all data collected will be used only to enhance the participant experience and for contest administration purposes.
4. Submission Rights and Content Restrictions
All submissions remain the property of the participants; however, by entering, participants grant PupWise a perpetual, royalty-free, non-exclusive, worldwide license to use any submitted content, such as dog profiles and stories, for promotional, editorial, commercial, or trade purposes. Content submitted must adhere to respectful and appropriate standards. PupWise reserves the right to remove or disqualify any submission containing offensive, inappropriate, or otherwise objectionable material, as determined at PupWise’s sole discretion.
5. Information Sharing and Privacy
PupWise respects your privacy. By participating in the Contest, participants consent to PupWise sharing their email addresses with official Contest sponsors for marketing purposes. No additional personal data will be shared with sponsors unless otherwise noted above. PupWise will not sell, lease, or disclose any other personal information except as necessary for Contest administration and as outlined in this policy.

7. Modification and Termination
PupWise reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Contest in cases of technical issues, fraud, or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, PupWise will notify participants via email or the Contest website.
8. Limitation of Liability
By entering, participants agree to release PupWise, its partners, sponsors, affiliates, and employees from any liability for claims, injuries, or damages arising from participation in the Contest or use/misuse of any prize awarded. Prizes are used at the participant's own risk. PupWise is not responsible for third-party websites accessed during the Contest.
9. Prizes
Prizes are awarded "as-is," with no substitutions, exchanges, or cash equivalents. Winners will be contacted by sponsors via email for prize distribution, and they have six (6) months to claim their prizes.
10. Consent to Receive Communications
By participating, contestants agree to receive email communications from PupWise for Contest updates, point and vote-earning opportunities, and prize information. Participants can opt out of non-contest-related communications but will receive necessary updates during the Contest.
11. Dispute Resolution
Participants agree that any disputes or claims from participation in the Contest will be resolved through binding arbitration, governed by New York law, excluding conflict of law provisions.

By entering, participants confirm they understand and agree to these Terms and all Contest Rules. This agreement constitutes the entire understanding between participants and PupWise regarding the Contest.
